Education Dissertations: Why Are They Important to Education?

What is so special about education dissertations, one might ask. Dissertations are academic papers submitted as a fulfillment of a specific degree requirement, and thus, there is literally a dissertation for every existent discipline.

However, on a larger scale, it can be stated that the importance of education dissertations is more significant than it might seem, specifically for the field of education. This article makes an attempt to explain the importance of education dissertations in the context of education in general.

Comparing education dissertations to other dissertations it can be seen that their findings is somewhat faster to implement. In that regard, the amount of resources needed to implement the findings of finance dissertations might seem risky for companies, if such findings were not verified by other respectable resources.

Education dissertations, on the other hand, usually test the findings in a school setting, and thus, the implementation of the findings of a particular study does not require so many resources. In that regard, it can be stated that education dissertations are the foundation of "research based instructions" in education. Thus, every education dissertation contributes to improving education, in terms of methods, testing, and materials.

As stated earlier, the most common setting for the studies in education dissertations is an educational institution, e.g. school, college, etc. In that regard, students participating in such studies in particular, and the educational institution in general are benefitting during the process of the study.
